MaxMine is excited to announce Steven Evanson joining our team as Customer Support Representative.
Steven joins MaxMine as our first cadet from the 42 Adelaide, an innovative social enterprise helping people transition from non-traditional tech backgrounds into the Tech Sector. Steven was a member of the first piscine of students at 42 Adelaide and demonstrated an amazing ability to pick up new concepts quickly and apply a solid understanding of interpreting signals and data into real world meaning. Skills that will become invaluable supporting our clients get the most from their operational data. During his 12-month cadetship, he will be continuing his studies at 42 Adelaide on a part time basis, rounding out his technical skills.
The MaxMine team is proud to be doing our bit in bringing new people into the tech community, from non-traditional backgrounds, which is aligned with the goals of the Tech Council of Australia of growing the tech sector workforce to over 1,000,000 by 2025.
Steven has just submitted his PhD thesis in international development and found himself drawn to a position in tech combining his passion for wanting to help others and make better sense of data.
